In today's blogging research I have learned that there are many websites that devote much thought, time, and effort into the art of blogging.

Blogs and Blogging: A Home Run for Teaching, Learning, and Technology
http://escrapbooking.com/blogging/index.htm
is a blog that explores many possibilities for the the uses of blogs in elementary, middle school, and high school settings. This website introduced me to various media that can be used in effective blogs such as pod casting, audiocasts, and scrap blogs. I found this to be vary useful because many educators(myself included) thought using text to get across ideas, was the only function of blogs.

Another great blog resource is
High Tech Learning
A blog designed for use with a graduate class at Indiana University at Indianapolis on facilitating high tech learning.
http://eduscapes.edublogs.org/
This is an awesome blog page! I think the teaching application on this site is that children and adults alike can blog and stimulate learning concepts thru pictures and graphics.
